Our Monkey Business
We founded the Beer Monkey Brew Co. in June 2017 in order to answer the market’s increasing demand for specialist niche cask, keg, can and bottled ales, packed with character, flavour and individuality. Brewed on an artisan plant using state-or-the-art equipment, our ales take advantage of utilising high quality Yorkshire water sourced from our very own borehole supply!
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, our passionate brewing team ensures that all our beers are brewed with the utmost skill and attention to detail. Our combined skill set, high brewing capabilities and access to our own water supply give us the flexibility to create new & exciting beers on a regular basis to a consistently high standard!

General Manager – Ian Vart
Ian has over 30 years experience in the Brewing Industry & Licensed Trade holding a number of senior roles in organisations such as John Smiths/Courage, Grand Metropolitan Estates/Diageo, and Wellington Pub Co to name a few, as well as running a successful Pub Co and more recently responsible for the re-structuring of several breweries, Ian brings a wealth of experience to The Beer Monkey Brew Co. Team.
